Softball. Softball Announces Fall Brawl Dates
Alabama softball head coach Patrick Murphy announced the Fall Brawl schedule for 2010 Thursday. The Crimson Tide will play a total of six games on three dates and a total of nine games will be played at the Alabama Softball Complex.
Football. John Hannah to Receive George Connor Lifetime Achievement Award
Former Alabama All-American offensive lineman and NFL Hall of Famer John Hannah will receive the 2010 George Connor Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2010 Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame dinner on Sept. 15. He will be presented the award for his invaluable contributions to the game of football.
W. Volleyball. Volleyball Names Kevin Dunn Assistant Coach
After spending one season as a volunteer on the volleyball staff, Kevin Dunn has been hired as an assistant coach, which was announced by head coach Judy Green on Monday. Dunn will work primarily with the setters and assist with scouting and film breakdown.
Baseball. Adam Morgan Named to Cape Cod League All-Star Team
Alabama left-hander Adam Morgan has been selected to play in the 2010 Cape Cod League All-Star Game, which will be held Wednesday, July 28 at Fenway Park in Boston. The 48th annual Cape Cod League All-Star Game will be televised live by CBS College Sports (DirecTV Channel 613).
