The No. 69 ranked women's tennis team (6-5, 0-2 SEC) looks to pick up its first Southeastern Conference win of the season, hosting a pair of SEC matches this weekend. The Crimson Tide will battle No. 20 South Carolina (7-3, 2-0 SEC) on Friday, March 12 at 3:00 p.m. (CST) and No. 5 Florida (12-2, 2-0 SEC) on Sunday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. (CST).

The No. 32 men's tennis team (6-7, 0-2 SEC) will be in search of its first Southeastern Conference win and road win of the season when it heads out for a pair of league matches this weekend. he Alabama baseball game against Michigan State was put under delay at 8:09 p.m. when lightning was spotted within six miles of Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The game was officially cancelled at 9:04 p.m. based on the weather forecast.

The game included a 46 minute delay due to lightning in the area. Game two of the scheduled doubleheader was cancelled due to heavy rain just before the start of the bottom of the second inning.
