We have heard that Comcast WILL carry the Alabama vs. San Jose State game. We now will be having our TV Viewing Party at Double Hills Billiard Club in Hixson next to the Goodwill Store. We will gather one (1) hour before kickoff which is 7:00 pm (EDT). Food may be ordered. Join us and celebrate the first game

San Jose State Resolution

Whereas, this is the first meeting of the Crimson Tide and the San Jose State Spartans, and if everything goes as planned, this will be the last time the bottom dwellers of the WAC will ever want to play the previous National Champions in their home stadium...
and...
Whereas, the Spartans have spent their entire fall training camp practicing in 80 degree temperatures and 20 percent humidity, so they will not only be overwhelmed by the 101 thousand Crimson Clad fans in the enlarged Bryant Denny Stadium, and the Mighty Crimson Tide, but also, the 90 plus degree temperature and the 90 percent humidity that will melt them into little blue and white puddles before the game even starts...
and...
Whereas, this game will be a blessing for the 3rd and 4th string players, as they will probably get more playing time than the 1st and 2nd team after the first quarter.
and...
Whereas, the Spartan place kicker has been quoted as saying he is “looking forward” to going to Bama and “knocking the Tide around” on Saturday. The fortunate thing for him is that he will be on the field only one time for one kickoff during the game. After he does kickoff, he better get his alligator mouth and his bumble bee butt to the safety of the sideline before the Tide Special Team demonstrates the meaning of “knocking someone around”...
Therefore, let it be resolved that the Mighty Crimson Tide will not be defending the 2009 National Championship, but will instead be creating the foundation for an even bigger, better 2010 National Championship. The combination of an unstoppable offense, an inexperienced but superbly talented defense and special team, and the very best Coach in America will again lead this edition of Crimson Tiders and their fans back to the Promised Land known by all as the Best of College Football - our very own 14 time 2010 National Champion Crimson Tide!
All in favor... yell ROOOOOLLLLLL, TIDE, ROLLLLLLLLL.
